At the scheduled time we'll pick you up at your hotel in Jakarta and head south toward the city of Bogor. The trip by minibus will take us about an hour and a half.
Once we have arrived at our destination, we'll go to one of its great tourist attractions, the botanical garden of Buitenzorg. We'll go back to 1817 to explain the Dutch origins of Bogor's green lung. We'll also remember the purposes that this place had back in pre-colonial times when it belonged to the Sunda Kingdom.
We'll stroll around the botanical garden and admire its varied plants and monuments on its grounds, such as the Presidential Palace or the mosque.
Afterward, we'll continue our tour and drive to the neighboring town of Cisarua. We'll visit a peculiar zoo where we'll combine car and walking tours. Are you ready to go on safari? Welcome to Taman Safari Indonesia!
During the zoo visit, you'll be able to see hundreds of different animals. From panda bears, tigers, camels, and elephants to zebras and many other species of the animal kingdom await. Also, you'll be able to have lunch at your leisure in the park's facilities.
After a 14-hour excursion, we'll bid you farewell and drop you off at your hotel in Jakarta.
