Thar Desert Tour
At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Jaisalmer and start our journey to the Thar Desert. Did you know that it's also known as the Great Indian Desert?
Upon arrival, you'll be treated with a hot welcome drink and we'll board a 4x4 vehicle that will take us all around this fascinating landscape of sand for about 1.5 hours. Along the way, you'll have time to soak up the unique desert atmosphere.
We'll make a stop at the town of Kuldhara, an old abandoned settlement that will make you feel like you've gone back in time. Then, we'll continue the tour to Thar Desert National Park. Are you ready to admire its rich biodiversity and learn about its flora and fauna?
Our adventure continues with a 4x4 safari through the impressive sand dunes in the Thar Desert. You'll have so much fun!
Afterwards, you'll have the chance to enjoy a camel ride. The best bit of the day will be sunset, when we'll head to a spot to marvel at the impressive colours of the sky over the sand dunes.
Then, we'll enjoy a delicious snack of tea, coffee and soft drinks to refuel before heading onto the last stop of the day.
As night falls, we'll travel to a campsite in the middle of the desert. Here, you'll enjoy a vegetarian buffet-style dinner under the stars. While you eat, you'll watch a traditional Rajasthani music and dance show.
After a total of 8 hours, we'll end this tour of the Thar Desert back at your hotel in Jaisalmer.
