Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Jaipur to begin this exciting tuk-tuk tour. Are you ready to explore India's Pink City?
Located in the heart of Jaipur, the City Palace houses a rich collection of cultural and historical artefacts. This will be the first stop on our tuk-tuk tour! Here, you'll be able to explore the different areas of the palace complex, including the impressive Durbar Hall.
After this, we'll drive to Jantar Mantar, an old observatory full of astrological instruments. Did you know that it was built almost 300 years ago? And that it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site? The enormous Samrat Yantra sundial is one of the highlights among Jantar Mantar's 20 instruments. It's 27 metres tall and casts a shadow that measures time with a precision of two seconds.
Next stop? Hawa Mahal! Also known as the Palace of the Winds, this building offers impressive views of Jaipur from its different floors. Its facade will catch your eye with its distinctive pink colour and latticework covered in coloured glass. You'll feel like you're part of a painting!
We'll then climb back onto the tuk-tuk and travel to the Albert Hall Museum, where you'll find detailed information about the history of the Rajasthan region. Did you know that the museum is home to a mummy? We'll also swing by the Royal Gaitor Tombs, the royal cremation site for the Kachhwaha Rajput kings and their families. Its majestic architecture makes it a must-visit on this tour of Jaipur.
Moving away from the city we'll find the Amer Fort, the most beautiful of the three closest to Jaipur. After exploring this fortress, we'll visit the Panna Meena stepwell, a hidden gem and one of the most photographable spots in all of Jaipur. You need to see it to believe it!
We'll finish the tuk-tuk tour at Jal Mahal, the famous palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. After 7 hours, this private tuk-tuk tour will come to an end near this final monument.
