Having been picked up from your hotel in Jaco first thing in the morning, you'll head to Puntarenas, a port city located in the Gulf of Nicoya. Arriving at the harbour, you'll climb aboard a yacht ready to sail your dream destination: Tortuga Island.
Cruise over the idyllic waters, marvelling at the views as you enjoy the peaceful rock of the boat and relax in the Pacific Ocean breeze. You'll be able to spot birds as they fly overhead and admire the tiny islets that you pass by along the way.
Soon you'll be welcomed in by the white sands and sparkling turquoise waters of Isla Tortuga. After disembarking from the yacht onto dry land, you'll have around five hours of free time to explore the paradise island at your own pace.
Not sure what to do? Tortuga Island is home to any number of fantastic activities: you might choose to hike through the jungle to discover the isle's flora and fauna. If you prefer a more refreshing way to spend your time, you could snorkel amongst the vibrant marine life or enjoy a ride on a banana boat around the coast. Or, if you're all about relaxing, there's always the choice to make the most of the beautiful beach and sunbathe under the Costa Rican sun.
Before you leave Isla Tortuga behind for the day, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch on the beach, allowing you to sample the most typical local delicacies. Bon appetit!
Then, on the cruise back to Puntarenas, the party continues! As you enjoy the sea breeze, we'll offer you a variety of fresh fruit, as well as an open bar with Rum Punch cocktails. At the end of an unforgettable twelve hours in paradise, you'll be dropped off back at your hotel in Jaco.
