Travel into the past with this fantastic trip to Ephesus from Smyrna. You'll visit the vestiges of one of the most impressive ancient cities in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Ephesus Trip

We'll pick you up at the designated meeting point in Izmir at 8:30 am and travel in a comfortable minibus to the fascinating ancient city of Ephesus on the Ionian coast.

After a journey of one and a half hours, we'll reach the site of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the country. Once there, we'll take a guided tour to discover some of its monumental jewels, such as the Celso Library, one of the most luxurious bibliographic archives of the Roman Empire in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Another place we'll discover during this tour of Ephesus is the Temple of Hadrian, built to honor the memory of the famous Hispanic emperor. Nearby we'll find the impressive Roman Theater, which has a capacity for 24000 people.

After touring Ephesus, we'll regain our energy with a delicious Turkish meal in a local restaurant. With our appetites satisfied and our cameras full of memories, we'll return to the minibus that will take us back to Izmir.

We'll finish the excursion by arriving back at the starting point at 4 pm.

Muy interesante, pero había mucha gente para ver las ruinas. También sobran las entradas a las tiendas, es mejor ir directos a primera hora a las ruinas y evitar la entrada de grupos grandes que vienen de crucero Translate this opinion into English.

La actividad fue Excelente, Erman fue un gran guía. Dio un tour muy completo, tanto estando en Éfeso como en el camino hacia allí, tuvimos tiempo libre para fotos también, la comida incluida era un bufet, también con variedad, la bebida fue aparte. Nos recogieron y dejaron en el hotel donde nos encontrábamos. Recomendamos. Un punto extra, no ir a la casa de la Virgen María, sale 20 euros y son 10 minutos, no lo vale. Buena excursión guiada. Nos encantó. Nuestro guía Erman Uslu fue muy amable y simpático, nos explicó todo con detalle dejándonos tiempo libre para realizar fotos y descansar. Sí cambiaría la comida. Era tipo buffet y de poca calidad, muy grasienta. Por otro lado y como extra, la Casa de la Virgen María fue una entrada algo costosa para nuestro gusto (15 euros). La explicación guiada estuvo bien pero la permanencia fue de poco tiempo y no te dejaban prácticamente nada en su interior. Translate this opinion into English.

Good guided excursion. We loved it. Our guide Erman Uslu was very kind and friendly, he explained everything to us in detail, leaving us free time to take photos and rest.
