Discover the remains of the ancient civilizations that inhabited the area around Izmir with this 2-day tour to Ephesus, Aphrodisias, Laodicea, and Şirince. An unforgettable journey into the past!

2-Day Trip to Ancient Villages Around Izmir

Day 1: Izmir - Şirince - Ephesus - Pamukkale

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Izmir at 9 am. From there, we'll set off on our adventure back into Turkey's fascinating past.

The first stop of this two-day excursion will be in a small village of only 600 inhabitants called Şirince. During the morning we'll walk through its charming streets and discover the importance of wine and oil production here. We'll also have lunch in a local restaurant to taste traditional products from the area.

After lunch, we'll head to our next destination: Ephesus. This city was founded thousands of years ago and still retains much of its splendor. The Library of Celsus, the Temple of Artemis, the Arcadian Way... All these wonders of the ancient world will leave you speechless.

After this incredible visit, we'll journey to Pamukkale and drop you off at the hotel to eat dinner and rest.

Day 2: Pamukkale - Aphrodisias - Laodicea - Izmir

We'll start the morning with a hearty breakfast at the hotel and, without wasting time, we'll head to the ancient city of Aphrodisias.

This city has one of the best-preserved amphitheaters of the time. During the visit, we'll also discover other sites such as the temple of Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty and love, and we'll unveil secrets about Greek mythology and cult rituals.

Afterwards, we'll head to a restaurant to replenish our energy with a delicious local lunch - the perfect opportunity to taste the local cuisine!

Once we've finished eating, we'll head to the last stop of this excursion: the ancient city of Laodicea. We'll take advantage of this visit to see one of the most important archaeological sites in the country. Laodicea has been perfectly preserved despite the passage of time as we'll be able to witness while we tour the temples, the baths, or its two Roman theaters.

Finally, after this last visit, we'll start our way back to your hotel in Izmir, where we'll drop you off at approximately 6 pm.
