Snowshoeing in Inari is the perfect opportunity to discover the area's natural wealth and see animals in the Sapmi region. Just like in a fairytale!
Description
We'll meet at Ivalontie 12, where we'll wait for a vehicle that will take us up to the Inari area. This place is known for being the centre of Sami culture in Sapmi, as well as for its natural wealth. This is your opportunity to explore it!
As soon as we arrive, we'll don the necessary equipment and head out into the snowy lanscape of Inari for a hike in snowshoes. With the help of walking poles, we'll enter into the depths of the forest, where we'll find total tranquility and untouched snow. It will be like walking through a scene from a snowy fairytale!
The only footprints that we'll find will belong to the animals that live in the Sapmi Forests. During our hike in snowshoes in Inari, it is possible that we'll come across grouse, reindeer or moose grazing. So keep your eye out!
When we get hungry, we'll stop at a local restaurant for lunch that will consist of a soup, which could be meat, fish or vegetable; and a dessert.
We'll finish our tour by retracing our footsteps back to the start of the hike. There, we'll board the vehicle once again to return to Ivalo. We expect to arrive back at the meeting point five hours after the beginning of the hike.
