Ivalo Forest Fat Bike Tour
Description
At the time indicated, we'll meet at Ivalontie 12, from where we'll enter the untouched lands of Lapland with the help of fat bikes, bikes that are specifically designed for snowy terrain. You'll see how easy it is to ride them!
Wending our way on our bikes through snowy trails, we'll come across some of Ivalo's towns and forests. On one of our stops, we'll take a break for a snack and hot drink to keep us warm in the cold.
We'll also pass by the Ivalo River and its streams, known as vuopaja. Additionally, we'll learn about how the towns surrounding the river developed and have survived periods of flooding and other extreme weather conditions.
After this fat bike ride in Ivalo, we'll return to the starting point, 3 hours after the start of the activity.
