Turkish Lamp-making

Strolling through the streets of Istanbul, surely you'll have noticed the beautiful mosaic-styled lamps that decorate the city. We'll meet inside the Ünver Galata Apart near the Galata Tower to kick off our Turkish lamp-making workshop. Here, you can craft your own beautiful pieces inspired by this distinctive art form.

Once we're situated, we'll share the secret techniques for making these beautiful and iconic pieces with you. Guided by an artisanal expert, we'll create our own mosaic Turkish lamps, allowing you to select your preferred color combinations and fashion a beautiful piece to cherish and take home with you.

As we dig our hands into the lamp-making process, we'll delve into the rich history of these intricate lamps and their profound connection to the city. While we wait for our lamps to be finished, you'll have the opportunity to unwind and enjoy a refreshing drink.

After 3 hours of handicraft fun, we'll bring our workshop to an end and return to Taksim Plaza with the best kind of souvenir there is–a handmade piece!
