Turkish Bath in Istanbul
Are you in Istanbul and looking to indulge in the soothing experience of a Turkish bath? Then join us at the Gedikpasa Hammam at the designated time for a truly relaxing experience that will allow you to enjoy the city's true essence!
Located in front of the iconic Great Bazar, this historic bath has more than 500 years of history, as it was built by orders of Gedik Ahmet Pasha in 1457. Once you first step foot into this hammam, you'll be awed by the stunning ceiling that rises 52.49 feet (16 meters) high.
The experience will be 1 hour in total, beginning with a 45-minute ritual of the following:
- A pleasant 15-minute rest on a hot marble stone.
- A relaxing 10-minute exfoliation, where an expert masseuse will use a traditional kese–an exfoliating glove–to remove dead skin, leaving your skin fresh and revitalized.
- A 20-minute bubble foam massage, which will soothe your muscles and help you feel completely relaxed. This ancient practice is not just about cleansing–it's an immersive cultural experience that rejuvenates both the body and the soul.
After this 45-minute ritual, you'll have 15 minutes left of free time to enjoy tea and Turkish delights at your disposal.
