Explore the famous Isle of Man with this private tour, just for you and your partner, family or friends. You can choose a half-day or full-day tour by car or on foot!

Description

When booking, you'll have the complete flexibility to make your tour your own. You can choose between a half-day or a full-day tour, which you can do on foot or by car. The details of each tour are listed below:

Half-day tour (4 hours)

Explore the northern part of the Isle of Man on our half-day tour. You'll begin by taking a scenic route from Douglas to the historic Laxey Wheel, the world's largest surviving waterwheel. After enjoying the glorious views of the Glen Mooar Valley, you'll move on to Maughold to check out one of the island's oldest temples.

The next stop will be in the island's second-largest town, Ramsey, where you can admire its large harbor and beautiful coastal views. Then, the tour takes you to the western side of the island, where you'll visit the historic fishing town of Peel, home to a castle that was once the fortress of an 11th-century Viking king.

The last part of the tour will be dedicated to visiting the small town of St. John's. Here you'll find Tynwald Hill, an important landmark and symbol of independence on the Isle of Man. The tour will conclude by returning to Douglas and marveling at the spectacular Plains of Heaven.

Full-day tour (8 hours)

With the full-day option, you'll go on a tour of the whole island, presenting you with the most complete picture of the Isle of Man. You'll visit all of the places mentioned in the previous option, as well as other important sites in the south, taking a break to have lunch along the way.

Some of the places your private guide will take you to see include the town of Cregneash and Calf Sound, the body of water that separates the Calf of Man island from the mainland. You'll also visit Castletown, which houses the medieval Castle Rushen, and Fairy Bridge, a bridge with a whimsical superstition. Don't forget to greet the fairies!

After 8 hours of discovering the main points of interest on the Isle of Man, the private tour will conclude.
