Immerse yourself in an enchanting natural environment on our Rivière des Roches River trekking activity. You'll explore a beautiful part of Reunión and see caves, waterfalls and whitewater rapids.

Rivière des Roches River Trekking

At 8 am, we'll meet at the Bassin La Paix car park, near Rivière des Roches. From there, we'll start our adventure through one of the most spectacular rapids on Reunión. Off we go!

First of all, we'll head to the river bank where our instructor will be waiting for us. The instructor will explain some basic guidelines we'll need to follow to do the activity safely and give us our equipment.

We'll spend 3 hours descending along the river. As we walk, you'll have an unparalleled perspective of the island's incredible nature.

Our river trekking route will continue through the Rivière des Roches' enchanting caves and waterfalls. If you're feeling brave, then you can jump from rocks towering between 10 and 36 feet (3 and 11 metres) high during the final part of the activity.

After making our descent, we'll stop in a quiet spot to have a delicious aperitif of a drink and different traditional local products. Delicious!

Our river trekking activity will finish when we arrive back at the starting point at 12 noon.
