The picturesque region of Salnés in Galicia is famous for its delicious wines. Join us on this brilliant trip to Granbazán Winery and enjoy the aroma and taste of the Albariño grape whilst surrounded by idyllic vineyards.
Description
We'll meet up at the entrance of the Granbazán winery at the time of your choice. From there, we set off on our fantastic discovery of the wine tradition of the Salnés region. We begin by admiring the beautiful blue facade of the building which contrasts with the green Galician mountains which surround it.
We then head into the pretty vineyards, where you'll hear all about the harvesting process and the history of the Albariño grape. As you stroll along, you'll feel the fresh sea breeze, blowing in from the wild Galician coastline. Perhaps this is the secret behind the special fruity taste of the Rías Baixas wines.
Afterwards, we'll go inside the winery to tour the facilities and learn all about the production process. You will hear amazing facts, such as how Granbazán was the first Galician winery to use French oak barrels.
We save the best part for the end with a fabulous tasting of four varieties of wine and some gourmet tapas. Then, one hour and fifteen minutes after beginning, our brilliant tour comes to an end.
