At the time indicated, we'll meet at the Paseo de las Palmeras, by the bench dedicated to reading. Here, we'll start our free tour of Isla Cristina talking about the beginnings of the city in 1755. Did you know that it was created after an earthquake?
Then, we'll head to the North Roundabout to talk about the key role of women on the island. Next, we'll go to the fishing port, which is the second most important in Spain. Are you ready to learn about the history of British Pirates in this area?
In addition, we'll visit the Carnaval Museum, the most important festival in Isla Cristina. Our next stop will be the Paseo de las Flores, Where we'll discover the old Church and the Town Hall, as well as Blas Infante's House, who is considered to be the Father of Andalusiasim.
From here, it's off to Nuestra Señora de los Dolores Church to enjoy fabulous views from its bell tower. Don't miss out!
Finally, we'll take a stroll around the most modern area of the city, where we'll see the Monument to the Sailor, the Horacio Noguera Theatre and the Central Park.
