In this bike tour through the wetlands of Isabela Island, we'll pedal through some of the most beautiful corners of the island & discover its fauna & flora.

Wetlands Bike Tour

After picking you up at your hotel on Isabela Island at 8 am, we'll start the bike tour on the beaches of Puerto Villamil.

As we pedal towards the wetlands we'll see various lagoon birds such as flamingos, black-necked stilts and Zapata rails. We'll also see mangrove forests, lava cactus and other botanical species typical of the Galapagos Islands.

We'll continue the tour through Playa del Amor and the tunnel of El Estero. On this route, we'll also be able to see giant tortoises of the Galapagos Islands in their natural state. Do you know how much these animals can weigh? We'll tell you all about it during the tour!

Finally, we'll arrive at an important site of local historical interest: the Wall of Tears. After learning about its history, we'll cycle back to your hotel on Isabela Island, where arrival is scheduled for 12 pm.
