Isle of Skye Tour
Isle of Skye Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at 19 Union Street in Inverness before embarking on an excursion to the Isle of Skye, where we'll visit some of the most beautiful places in Scotland.
Our first stop will be at Eilean Donan Castle, which, thanks to its high towers and walls, is one of the most photographed sights in Scotland. Once there, you can decide whether you want to explore the inside of the fortress or simply enjoy its surroundings and the views of Loch Duich.
We'll then continue our journey to the Isle of Skye, crossing over Skye Bridge and through the town of Portree, the capital of the island. We'll take a break here, and you'll have an hour of free time to buy lunch in one of the traditional restaurants while watching the hustle and bustle of the port.
After we've refueled, we'll head to the iconic Old Man of Storr. We'll learn the legend of this intriguing rock formation, which is one of the most famous places not just on the Isle of Skye, but in all of Scotland.
Continuing our tour, we'll visit one of the most impressive places in Skye. We'll discover Kilt Rock, a viewpoint on the cliffs that will offer us an unforgettable view of the Scottish seas. Our next stop will be Quiraing, an impressive land formation on the most northern part of the Isle of Skye.
After discovering the natural wonders of Skye, we'll get back on the bus and set off for Inverness, where we'll arrive after 12 hours of excursion.
