Camino do Rei Hiking Tour
Camino do Rei Hiking Tour
After picking you up at your hotel at the scheduled time, we'll travel to the Camino do Rei trailhead. This trail runs along the Rosa and Barra de Ibiraquera beaches.
This low-difficulty hiking route will take us along a path that King D. João VI used to take to visit the border of Brazil with Spanish territories in the 19th century when Brazil was still a colony of Portugal. Today, the Camino do Rei is a perfect place to get spectacular views of the natural treasures of this area.
During the tour, we'll pass by Praia do Luz, a deserted cove and an ideal destination to do water sports. Here we'll admire the fishermen patiently waiting to catch some mullet and the lush vegetation that surrounds the place.
Afterwards, we'll continue along the Camino do Rei trail and enjoy an unbeatable panoramic view of Praia Rosa. Did you know that it's considered one of the most beautiful bays in the world? To complete the tour, we'll head over to Barra de Ibiraquera, where we'll also see Batuta Island, a natural breeding ground for numerous species of birds and reptiles.
Finally, we'll start our way back to the starting point and take you back to your hotel after a total of four hours.
