NAUI Open Water Diving Course in Ilhabela
NAUI Open Water Diving Course in Ilhabela
You can do the NAUI Open Water diving course in 4 consecutive days or split it up into 2 weekends, the choice is yours! The training includes a theoretical and a practical part, and both will have a duration of 16 hours.
Day 1: Theory
The first day will be dedicated to learning the basic concepts and the necessary knowledge that a good diver should have. You can choose between attending the theory classes virtually for 4 days (4 hours per day) or in person at the dive center in Ilhabela. If you attend the theory classes in person, everything will be taught in 1 day.
Day 2: Confined Waters Practice & Test
In the morning, we'll go to the dive center's pool to practice in confined waters. Then, in the afternoon, you'll get to show off everything you've learned in a practical test.
Days 3 & 4: Open Water Dives
On the third day, we'll go to the open water to put into practice everything we've learned during the diving course, performing 2 dives of 59 ft (18 meters) deep.
On the fourth day, we'll do 2 more dives and, if the professional instructor thinks that you're ready to dive on your own, we'll give you the NAUI Open Water international certificate. With this certificate, you'll be able to dive anywhere in the world without needing to be accompanied by a professional diver!
