Pisco & Wine Tour
Description
What are the most quintessential tastes of Peru? What are its most emblematic drinks? Discover the answers to these questions on the day of your tour! After picking you up from your hotel in Ica, we'll set off to traditional local bodegas and wineries.
During the tour, we'll visit a total of 3 wineries, the first of which is Nietto. Here, we'll begin to discover how the famous wines and piscos of this Peruvian region are made, and we'll also enjoy an exquisite tasting of these beverages.
But what exactly is pisco? Well, it's one of Peru's national drinks, a grape brandy that has earned a great reputation worldwide.
Next, we'll continue to learn more about pisco at the El Catador winery, where we'll see an old wine press and the enormous vats where the juice of the crushed grapes is fermented. To round off this second visit, we'll sample their pisco, wines, and creams.
The last stop of the day will be at the Lazzo winery, which houses a museum on the history of pisco in this family of producers. During the visit, we'll also discover the different grape varieties used for the production of this drink and the different nuances they provide. What's more, we'll have another wine and pisco tasting included. Cheers!
After two and a half hours, we'll finish the tour and drop you back at your hotel in Ica.
