The condor, the spider, the monkey, the hummingbird... Enjoy incredible views of these unique figures as you fly over the world-famous Nazca Lines!
Description
We'll hit the road from your hotel in Ica and head south bright and early. After approximately two hours of driving, we'll reach the Aerodromo de Nazca. Ready for a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
The flight will be aboard a light aircraft with a capacity for 6 passengers and 2 crew members. You won't miss any detail, since each passenger will have an individual seat with panoramic windows. This way you all will be able to admire from the air the condor, the spider, the monkey, the hummingbird, and other geoglyphs that form the famous Nazca Lines.
How did the ancient cultures in Peru create these figures? What were they used for? What do they mean? You'll find out this and more as you enjoy your flight over the Nazca Lines. Then, after 35 minutes, you'll land at the same airport as you took off from, and from there we'll return to your hotel in Ica. You're sure to have lasting memories of this experience, but we'll also give you a flight certificate so that this moment is marked in history.
Before returning to your hotel in Ica, you'll enjoy some free time for lunch at a restaurant in downtown Nazca. Lastly, we'll drop you off in Ica at 3:30 pm.
Flight+ Aqueducts + Maria Reiche Museum
If you're looking for an even more complete experience, in this option, in addition to everything mentioned above, we'll also visit the Cantalloc aqueducts and the Maria Reiche Museum.
At 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ica and head to the Maria Reiche Museum, where our first stop will take place. At 9 am, we'll begin a guided tour of the museum, where we'll talk about the life of this important German woman who dedicated herself to the study, research, and conservation of the Nazca Lines in the 1950s.
At 10:30 am, we'll continue the tour at the airfield, where we'll begin our 35-minute flight over the Nazca Lines. After landing and after receiving your flight certificate, we'll go to the Cantalloc aqueducts. Did you know that these incredible hydraulic infrastructures have been extracting subway water for more than 1,000 years?
Following this, we'll leave you some free time to have lunch in a local restaurant and regain your strength. After lunch, we'll meet up and start the trip back to Ica, where we'll arrive at 5 pm.
