Day 1: Ica - Huacachina - Ica
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ica or the bus station and head over to the hotel to drop off your luggage.
Subsequently, embark on a guided tour through the heart of Ica, delving into the city's history and exploring its key landmarks. Stroll around the Plaza de Armas, visit the Cathedral, and discover the Casa de las Tejas. Our journey continues to the picturesque Huacachina lagoon, where we'll soak in the landscapes and indulge in a delightful tasting of piscos and wines at a local winery.
Returning to the enchanting Huacachina Lagoon, nestled in the Peruvian desert, get ready for an adrenaline-packed adventure with a buggy ride and some thrilling sandboarding on the dunes.
As the day winds down, we'll drop you off at the hotel, where you can unwind, enjoy some dinner, and rest up for the next day.
Day 2: Ica - Paracas - Ballestas Islands - Ica
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we'll make our way to the Paracas pier to start an exciting journey to the Ballestas Islands. A leisurely boat ride across the Pacific Ocean will take us through the stunning coastline of the Paracas peninsula, where we can admire the fascinating El Candelabro geoglyph.
The next stop is the Ballestas Islands, where we'll have the chance to observe guano birds, Humboldt penguins, and playful dolphins in their natural habitat.
Our next destination is the Paracas dock, where we'll visit a conservation center for sea lions, before taking a 30-minute break so that you can explore the area at your own pace.
Afterwards, we'll continue with a land tour of the Paracas National Reserve, where we'll visit the breathtaking Paracas Peninsula viewpoint, as well as the picturesque beaches of Roja, Lagunillas, and Yumaque. This is the perfect opportunity to capture some stunning photos!
Finally, we'll wrap up the tour by dropping you off in Ica after two unforgettable days of adventure.
Accommodation
This tour includes one night of accommodation with breakfast in a 2 or 3-star hotel in Ica or Huacachina, whichever you prefer. The hotels are as follows:
- Ica: hotel Las Flores and Hotel Villa del Valverde (residential area La Angostura)
