Ballestas Islands (4 hours)

We'll head for the port of Paracas and board a speedboat for a 2-hour boat trip. During our boat trip, we'll skirt Paracas Bay so you can see the intriguing Paracas Candelabra geoglyph, whose origin remains a mystery today. We'll get off the boat at the Ballestas Islands, which is home to numerous Humboldt penguin and sea lion families. After visiting these islands, we'll return to the port of Paracas by boat and take you back to your hotel in Ica.

Schedule: This day trip begins at 6 am. We'll follow a route similar to that of this day trip to the Ballestas Islands.

Ballestas Islands & Paracas National Reserve (6 hours)

The first part of this day trip will be the same as the one described in the previous section. After we've been to the Ballestas Islands, we'll head to the Paracas National Reserve. Here, we'll see fossils, peculiar rock formations and beaches that look like something plucked from a dream. The unique beaches we'll see on this route are Roja, Yumaque and Lagunillas Beach. You'll have some free time at Lagunillas Beach to take a dip and have some lunch at your leisure.

Schedule: This day trip begins with pick up at 6 am. Our itinerary will be similar to the one on this day trip to the Ballestas Islands and the Paracas National Reserve.

Nazca Viewpoints (6 hours)

Having picked you up, we'll head for the province of Nazca, which is world-famous for its mysterious lines. On the way, we'll see a sundial which, according to experts, was used by the Paracas culture to measure the seasons. We'll visit our first viewpoint, Lilpata, from which we'll be able to see some fascinating anthropomorphic figures. Afterwards, we'll stop at the María Reiche Museum to observe the tools used by this archaeologist to study the Nazca Lines.

Our next observation point will be the metallic viewpoint, from which you'll see views of the Hand or Tree figures. Lastly, we'll visit a natural viewpoint on a hill. From here, you'll see excellent views of the figures that stretch across the plains.
