At the time of booking, you can choose between 2 tour options, depending on the duration and the activities you wish to do. Both include pickup at 8 am and drop off at your hotel in Ibagué.
5-hour Tour
We'll start by walking along a trail surrounded by vegetation, rivers, and waterfalls while observing the local flora and fauna until we reach Coello River. Here, we'll hop on the rafts to embark on a 3-mile (5 km) descent through class II and III rapids.
You'll feel your adrenaline pumping as you navigate the rapids surrounded by a breathtaking landscape of green mountains. You'll also be able to see the miners searching for gold on both sides of the river!
9-hour Tour with Lunch
We'll start by walking through the canyon of the Coello River, observing the biodiversity of the territory, until we reach the banks of the river. Here, we'll start a 10-mile (16 km) descent through class III rapids – ideal for adrenaline junkies!
While following the course of the river, we'll enjoy the beautiful lush landscapes of the area. Then, we'll get off the rafts and hike to the waterfalls of El Oso, Chorro Blanco, and Paraíso, where you'll have time for a refreshing swim!
Next, we'll have a typical lunch consisting of a main course and a drink. And, finally, we'll visit the Madremonte Cave to learn about its enigmatic legend!
