Wharf of the Caravels Boat Ride
Wharf of the Caravels Boat Ride
At your selected time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and take you to the pier of Punta Umbria. From there, we'll board a boat and begin cruising along the Ria de Huelva estuary towards the famous Wharf of the Caravels.
On the way to our destination, we'll pass through the Marismas del Odiel Nature Reserve, one of the area's most impressive natural spaces. If we're lucky, we may even see flamingos!
We'll also sail to the mouth of the Tinto and Odiel rivers and see the Monument to the Discovery Faith, a commemorative monument to Christopher Columbus.
Then, when we reach the Wharf of the Caravels, you'll see the famous replicas of the Pinta, the Niña and the Santa María, the ships that reached the New World with Columbus.
Here, you'll have free time to visit these beautiful 16th-century ships on your own, to get an idea of what it would've been like to cross the Atlantic.
At the end of this boat trip, we'll return to the departure pier and take you back to your hotel in Huelva, arriving three hours after the start of the activity.
Tour without pickup
If you prefer, you can opt for the tour without pickup at the hotels. In this case, you must meet the guide at the indicated time at the following meeting point in Punta Umbria: Plaza de Pérez Pastor, at the Muelle de las Canoas pier.
