Tour of Ventanilla, Mazunte and Zipolite
Ventanilla, Mazunte and Zipolite Tour
Having picked you up from your hotel, we'll make our way to Ventanilla - a tiny municipality found an hour and a half away from the Huatulco bays. Here we'll take a walking tour through the Ventanilla Natural Protected Reserve, where you can make the most of the natural beauty around you. Here, the inhabitants themselves have created a crocodile sanctuary, where they reproduce, with the young crocodiles nursed to be released once they have grown.
After a 15 minute walk out of the town, we'll arrive at the Ventanilla wetlands. Here we'll climb aboard the boat that will take us around the mangrove forests of the region - seeing the different kinds of birds and reptiles endemic to the region, such as the exotic iguana.
The Mangrove tour continues to the Ventanilla Island, where you can see more of the exotic local wildlife, such as the white-tailed deer and the spider monkey! Then, we'll head to Mazunte, a coastal town in Oaxaca.
We'll visit Zipolite beach, a beach backing onto the open sea, where we'll spend half an hour so you can relax and take in its stunning coastline. Then finally, we'll head to Puerto Ángel, where you'll have free time to eat in one of the nearby restaurants.
Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel in Huatulco, arriving at around 6:30 pm.
