Llano Grande Waterfalls Day Trip
Llano Grande Waterfalls Day Trip
Having picked you up in the Huatulco bay, we'll make our way to Llano Grande, found in the Sierra Madre mountain range, with a population of just 90.
During our tour we'll explore the jungle, and you can admire the flora and fauna of the region, which changes as we climb towards the mountains.
After an hour and a half, we'll arrive at a local farm, where you'll learn about the process which transforms coffee beans into the black gold itself. This region of Oaxaca is famous for its coffee, having some of the best in the world, and you can try the freshly made drink to confirm this for yourself.
Once we've left the farm, we'll make our way to the Magic Copalitilla waterfall, which falls, level by level along the hillside. You can bathe in these waters just metres from the falls, barely noticing the softly crashing water. Here you'll have about an hour and a half of free time to enjoy the crystal clear waters, and refresh yourself in this unique spot for about an hour and a half.
Refreshed, you can try the traditional clay mask, which the natives use to rejuvenate the skin, and then back at the farm you'll try a selection of typical local delicacies, including the famous mole negro (black mole), frijoles negros (black beans), carnitas de cerdo (pulled pork) and mezcal.
Then the excursion ends back at your hotel in the Huatulco bay.
