Huatulco Guided Tour
Huatulco Guided Tour
Having picked you up from the hotel, we'll make our way to the La Bocana viewpoint, where the mouth of the river Copalita meets the sea.
From here we'll make our way to the Tangolunda, which means "pretty-faced woman" in the native Huatulco language. We'll pass by the Santa Cruz viewpoint, where we can observe the entirety of the shopping area and the Santa Cruz dock, and you'll hear about the history of the beautiful chapel found on the seafront.
Then we'll visit other local viewpoints, such as Hierba Buena or El Faro, both with truly spectacular views of the Huatulco bay.
Having visited these points, we'll make our way to La Crucecita. In this little town, you'll be able to discover the essence of the region, known as a meeting place for musicians and artisans, who gather in the streets to fill the pueblo with life.
You'll also hear about the history of the Church of the Virgin of Guadalupe, home to one of the largest pictures of the virgin of Guadalupe in the world.
Then before arriving back to your hotel, we'll head to a prehispanic fabric workshop, where you can still see the traditional way of weaving, still carried out using wooden instruments.
We'll arrive back at your hotel at around 8:30 pm.
