Private Tours from Huaraz

When booking, you can choose from the following private tours from Huaraz. All tours last from 8 to 14 hours and include hotel pick-up and drop-off, minibus transport and English-speaking guide.

Chavín de Huántar Tour

We'll pick you up at 9 am and board a minibus to take you to the archaeological site of Chavín de Huántar. On the two-hour journey, we'll stop at the Querococha lagoon to enjoy the scenery - you'll love it!

The Tello obelisk, the Portico of the Falconides, the sunken circular square... These are just some of the highlights of the tour. On arrival, we'll visit all the vestiges left by this culture and we'll tell you some amazing facts: what gods did the Chavins worship? What were their customs? We'll find out!

At 2 pm you'll have free time in the village for lunch. We'll then go to the Chavín National Museum, where we'll delve even deeper into the history and culture of Chavín de Huántar. At 6 pm we'll return to Huaraz.

Pastoruri Glacier Tour

At 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel to go to the Pastoruri glacier. On the way, we'll stop at the Patococha lagoon and we'll see the hot springs of Pumapampa. Have you heard of Puya Raimondi? Here we'll find numerous specimens of this special native plant.

Upon arrival at the Huascaran National Park, we'll begin the 45-minute ascent to the Pastoruri glacier, which is almost 2 square kilometres in size and located at an altitude of over 5000 metres (16,404 feet), a natural wonder! At 3 pm, you'll have free time for lunch and we'll be back in Huaraz at 5 pm.

Paron Lagoon Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz at 8:30 am to start a trip to the Paron Lagoon. Did you know that it's one of the largest and most beautiful lagoons in the Cordillera Blanca? During the trip, we'll be able to observe the beautiful views of the snow-capped peaks of Caraz and Piramide.

We'll reach the town of Caraz, from where we'll start the ascent by minibus to the lagoon. Here we'll start walking for an hour and a half to enter the spectacular scenery of the Cordillera Blanca, a sight you'll never forget! After half an hour of free time at the lagoon, we'll start the hike back to Caraz where you'll have lunch before returning to Huaraz. We'll finish the excursion at about 5.30 pm.

Llanganuco Lagoons Tour

At 9 am we'll meet at your hotel and start a route to the Llanganuco Lagoons, located in the Huascaran National Park. On the way, we'll be delighted with the views of the Huanday, Hualcan and Huascaran peaks. The latter has a height of 6757 metres (22,168 feet) above sea level. Impressive, isn't it?

Once in the park, we'll reach the famous lakes of Llanganuco: Chinancocha and Orconcocha. There you'll have one hour to explore these glacial lakes on your own. Afterwards, we'll take you to Caraz, where you'll have free time for lunch.

After lunch, we'll visit the local pastry shops to learn all about the local sweets. Before returning to Huaraz, we'll stop in the district of Tarica to learn about its traditional handicrafts. Finally, we'll arrive at your hotel at 7 pm

We'll start the trekking route along the ridge that leaves Pitec. In the steep sections we'll have to use ropes to help us on the ascent. But don't worry, the guide will help us at all times. When we arrive at the Churup lagoon, you'll have free time to enjoy the views and rest in the surroundings. After the stop, we'll walk back to Pitec, where the minibus will be waiting to take us to Huaraz. We'll arrive at the hotel at approximately 4 pm.

After a three-hour walk, you'll arrive at the 69 lagoon, whose intense turquoise-blue waters will make you fall in love with them. There you will have an hour of free time to explore the surroundings, enjoy lunch and even go for a swim. Do you dare?
