Huascaran National Park Tour
At 9:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz and head north through the Callejón de Huaylas, located between the Blanca and Negra mountain ranges, until we reach the Huascarán National Park.
On the way, we'll pass through some Andean villages and enjoy the stunning landscapes of Huascarán National Park, a Natural World Heritage Site and World Biosphere Reserve. Their beauty will leave you speechless!
We'll continue traveling through the area until we reach the Llanganuco Lake and the Chinancocha Lagoon. At this point, we'll leave the minibus and begin a 1.5-hour hiking route along the María Josefa trail, which will take us through the famous quenual forests.
Throughout the hiking route, the guide will tell us all about the high Andean flora and fauna. Then, we'll take a 1-hour break so that you can have lunch on your own.
After lunch, we'll head to Campo Santo de Yungay, a place with a tragic history and an imposing monument of Christ the Redeemer. From there, we'll return to the minibus and head back to your hotel in Huaraz. We'll finish the excursion at approximately 6:30 pm.
