Faial Island Full Day Tour
At 9:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Horta to start our tour of the gorgeous Faial Island. Ready to discover all that this little paradise on the Azores has to offer?
Our first stop of the day will the Nossa Senhora da Conceição viewpoint. From this advantage point, we'll be able to admire Praia do Almoxarife, Horta, Marina, Monte Queimado, and Monte da Guia.
Next on our tour, we'll head to Caldeira, the most important natural attraction on Faial Island. Did you know that it's one of the largest volcanic crates on the Azores archipelago?
We'll continue our tour to the viewpoint of Ribeira das Cabras, from where we'll contemplate the Fajã da Praia do Norte and the Capelo peninsula, our next stop. We'll change the landscape completely when we reach the area of the Capelinhos Volcano, which was active between 1957 and 1958. There we'll visit the Capelinhos Volcano Interpretation Center and the Capelo Forest Park.
To end this fabulous day, we'll make a stop at the Monte da Guia viewpoint, where we'll enjoy the views of this unparalleled coast beauty.
After approximately 8 hours of exploring the island, we'll drop you off back at your hotel in Horta.
