Hornopirén National Park Hiking Tour
Hornopirén National Park Hiking Tour
We'll pick you up at 7:30 am at your hotel in Hornopirén and set off toward the Chaqueihua sector, where the trailhead is located.
Once there, we'll embark on a 12-kilometer (7.5-mile) medium-difficulty hike through the Hornopirén National Park. This protected area, located in the Chilean region of Los Lagos, will show us some of the best landscapes that Chilean Patagonia has to offer.
The trails will take us through southern Andean temperate forests, whose rainy climate favors lush green vegetation. During this tour, we'll take several breaks to observe local plant and wildlife. We'll also take the opportunity to regain some strength with an energy bar, a piece of fruit, and a hydrating sports drink.
Eventually, the route will lead us to the beautiful Pinto Concha Lake. As we'll see, this area is also characterized by dense forests where we'll find Alerce trees, Mañios, Coihues, Lumas, Tineos, and other botanical species native to the Andes.
Finally, we'll return to the trailhead and return to your hotel in Hornopirén, where we'll arrive at 3:30 pm.
