Join us to remember one of the saddest episodes of the United States in this tour of Honolulu and Pearl Harbor, whose attack caused the country's entry into World War II.
Tour Options
During the booking process, you'll be able to choose between two different tour options. In both cases, we will pick you up at your hotel in Waikiki and drive to Pearl Harbor.
Below, you can see the particularities of each option:
Honolulu + Pearl Harbor Tour (5 to 6 hours)
We'll start our journey at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, stepping back to December 7, 1941—the day of the surprise Japanese attack that challenged the American fleet. At the center, we'll explore two museums and watch a documentary film to deepen our understanding of that pivotal day.
Next, we'll board a shuttle boat to the USS Arizona Memorial, which honors the 1,177 sailors who lost their lives in the attack.
Our tour then takes us to Honolulu, the capital of Hawaii. We'll visit the Punchbowl Cemetery, dedicated to U.S. Armed Forces members who have died in service.
Continuing through the city, we'll see the Iolani Palace—the only royal palace on U.S. soil. In front of this historic site, we'll view the statue of King Kamehameha. Nearby, we'll also pass by the Kawaiahao Church and the Mission Houses.
The tour concludes with stops in front of the Hawaii State Capitol and Honolulu Hale. After a comprehensive five to six-hour tour, we'll return you to your hotel.
Departure time: between 9 and 10:45 am
Complete Pearl Harbor Tour (9.5 hours)
Choosing this option includes a visit to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center where we'll explore its two museums and watch a documentary film. After visiting the USS Arizona Memorial, we'll diverge from the standard Honolulu route to explore the submarine Bowfin. Known as "The Avenger of Pearl Harbor," this submarine sank 44 enemy ships during World War II. Inside, an audio guide will share this and other fascinating stories.
Our next stop is the USS Oklahoma Memorial on Ford Island. We'll tour this historic warship before heading to the Aviation Museum and the USS Missouri, two of the most significant attractions at the site. Be sure to have your cameras ready—these are sights you won’t want to miss!
We'll take a lunch break at the Aviation Museum's restaurant, where you can choose from four delicious meals: Hawaii 5-0 Kalua Pig Wrap, Commander's Hawaiian Cobb Salad, Hawaiian Chicken Bites Rice Bowl, or House Made Vegan Chili.
Afterward, we'll leave Pearl Harbor and explore historic downtown Honolulu. Highlights include Chinatown, Iolani Palace, Washington Square, and the Capitol. The tour concludes after a total of nine and a half hours when we return you to your hotel.
