Maui Day Trip
Road to Hana Adventure Tour (20-20.5 hours)
The Road to Hana is well-known for its hairpin turns and winding roads that make for a slow drive. When option for this tour, sit back, relax, and soak up the impeccable views as we drive along the narrow streets in a comfortable minibus.
Our experienced driver will expertly weave us through the jaw-dropping 620 curves and 59 single-lane bridges that make up this famous road. Arriving in Maui, we'll enjoy a continental breakfast of fruit and yogurt before heading out to our first stop of the day.
As we reach Paia Town, known as the "windsurfing capital of the world," we'll take a moment to appreciate the charm of the small town. Then, we'll hit the road again to reach Keanae Peninsula, made from flowing lava that spilled out into the ocean. Here, we'll witness Taro farmers, skilled in the practice of sustainable farming that's also an ancient tradition among the locals on the island.
Then, it's time for lunch at Hana Farms, which is both a farm and marketplace along Hana Highway. The perfect spot to satiate our appetites and pickup some souvenirs along the way!
Following lunch, we'll head to Waianapanapa State Park and Black Sand Beach to see a lava tube, sea arches, and pristine beaches. In Hawaiian "waianapanapa" means glistening water, and this stop is sure to make you see why.
We'll hop back in the car and catch some views of Hana Bay as we drive along. Then we'll come to Puaa Kaa State Park for a refreshing swim next to a tranquil waterfall. A perfect moment of rest throughout the day!
Our final stop is at Hookipa Beach Park for a look at the characteristic windsurfers that often populate the area. Then from here, we'll make the entire trip again but in reverse for a different perspective.
Finally, after 20-20.5 hours, we'll bring our envigorating adventure to an end and you'll return to Oahu.
