North Cape Trip

On the day of the activity, upon your cruise's arrival, our bus will be waiting for you at the port. Once we're all together, we'll make our way to North Cape, located at a latitude of 71° and an altitude of 307 metres (1,007 feet) above sea level.

After the 40-minute bus ride to North Cape, originally called Knyskanes, you'll hop off the bus and explore the Visitor Center at your leisure. Here, you'll learn all about the northernmost point of Europe. Take the time to explore the centre, which has all of the facilities necessary to welcome the thousands of tourists that flock to North Cape every summer. In addition to a large restaurant or the typical souvenir shop, there's also a cinema with a huge screen where they show an interesting film called NORDKAPP, which shows the atmosphere and life in North Cape during the different seasons of the year.

In front of the Visitor's Centre, you'll see the famous iron sculpture of the Globe, the iconic image of the North Cape. It marks the northernmost point of the continental mainland in Norway. Did you know that it's believed to be the edge of the earth?

North Cape is the perfect location for short strolls and admiring impressive cliffs with strong waves crashing beneath them. If you love all things nature and wilderness, this is the place for you! Its treeless landscape on the horizon and sparse vegetation testify to the harsh Norwegian climate.

After a total of 4 hours, we'll return to the bus to make the trip back to Honningsvag Port, leaving you plenty of time to get back on your cruise before it sets sail.
