Snorkelling with Whale Sharks in Holbox
Snorkelling with Whale Sharks in Holbox
At the indicated time, we'll see each other at Choza Pink. We'll then head to the Whale Shark Biosphere Reserve pier to board a boat that will take us to where we'll swim with whale sharks!
During the trip, we'll tell you all about these docile creatures. Did you know that it's the largest fish in the world? It can measure up to 39 feet (12 meters) long! Every year, hundreds of whale sharks arrive in the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea to feed on plankton.
Once we arrive, we'll put on our snorkelling gear and dive into the sea to begin our search. Besides whale sharks, you might also get to see hawksbill sea turtles and devil rays!
After the swim, we'll get back on board the boat and have a nice snack of delicious ceviche accompanied by fruits and drinks on board!
Then, we'll visit the beautiful beaches of Cabo Catoche, a pristine area with crystal clear waters and white sand. Here, you'll have free time to sunbathe and relax under the sun!
Finally, after 7 hours, we'll finish the activity back at the pier on the Holbox beach.
