Tour Options

During the booking process, you can choose between the following options:

Speedboat Tour (3 Hours)

At the designated time, we'll meet at the meeting point to hop onto a motorboat, which will take us to explore some of the most fascinating spots in Holbox. Let's go!

We'll kick off this tour by visiting Isla Pájaros, a protected sanctuary where more than 35 species of birds nest. We'll step off the speedboat and make our way to a viewpoint from where you'll get to admire an incredible diversity of bird species, including frigate birds, white ibises, cormorants, pelicans, and depending on the season, flamingos!

Our next stop will be at the charming Isla Pasión, a small paradise of crystal-clear water and white sand. You'll get to walk along its pristine beaches, relax under the sun, and visit its viewpoint for spectacular views.

We'll end this route at the Yalahau Cenote, where you can take a dip in this natural spring known for its revitalising properties.

• Important: depending on the weather conditions and birdwatching concentration, the order of the itinerary may vary and, in some cases, we might add Punta Mosquito to the tour.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday from dawn to 4 pm.

Mangrove Kayak Tour (2.5-3 Hours)

If you're looking for a more relaxing experience that involves direct contact with nature, this is the perfect tour option for you. We'll pick you up from your hotel and we'll meet on the beach northeast of Holbox, where the kayaks will be ready to begin this adventure.

We'll paddle into the sea until we reach the mouth of the Kuká River. As we venture into mangroves, you'll sense how our surroundings change: the sound of the water, the cry of birds, and the sea breeze will create a magical atmosphere.

During the tour, you'll get to see different birds depending on the season, such as flamingos, as well as different fish and, with a little bit of luck, perhaps even a crocodile! We'll have a brief stop to rehydrate, admire the landscape, and re-energise before we continue our kayaking.

• Schedule: Monday to Sunday at 7 am and 3:30 pm.

Bioluminescence Tour (1 Hour & 20 Minutes)

Want to experience a magical moment under the starry sky? This nocturnal tour will allow you to see one of the most fascinating natural phenomena in Holbox: bioluminescence!

We'll meet at the beach, where we'll hop onto kayaks to leave behind the village lights and venture into the sea's darkness. Paddling softly, you'll get to admire the starry sky and, if luck is on our side, you might spot a shooting star or two.

But the true magic begins in the water: as you move your kayak, or dip your hand in the water, bioluminescent plankton will light up, creating brilliant flashes all around you. This natural spectacle will amaze you!

Additionally, you'll also have the option to hop out of the kayak to experience this natural wonder up close.

• Schedule: This tour will begin between 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, depending on the lunar cycle and phase.
