When making your booking, you'll have the choice of two options for your kayak tour in Holbox. Both depart from Paseo Kuka and include kayak rental and an English-speaking guide. Below, you can see their itineraries:
Río Kuka Mangroves (3 hours)
With this option, we'll enjoy a fun kayak tour on the Kuka River while we discover the local plants and wildlife native to the island of Holbox. We'll paddle through mangroves inhabited by flamingos, ospreys, cormorants, and roseate spoonbills.
Keep your eyes peeled! It's highly likely we'll be able to spot crocodiles on the shore of the river too! Did you know that these reptiles can live up to 80 years? Finally, we'll kayak back to the starting point after 8 kilometres of adventure.
Río Kuka Mangroves & Punta Mosquito (5 hours)
This Holbox kayak tour follows the same route as above, but once we've paddled through the mangroves, we'll then kayak to Punta Mosquito. You'll be enchanted by this spot with its large beach full of sand dunes, mangroves and dreamy panoramic views of the Mexican Caribbean.
As we kayak around Holbox, we'll see various species of native wildlife, such as peregrine falcons, snowy plovers, sea plovers and American ostretos. After a total route of 13 kilometres, we'll finish the kayaking experience back at the starting point.

- Río Kuka Mangroves Tour: every day at 9 am and 4 pm.
- Río Kuka Mangroves & Punta Mosquito Tour: every day at 9 am.
