At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the meeting point on the island of Holbox where we'll do this unforgettable kayaking activity. Are you ready to discover the magic of bioluminescent plankton?
On shore, we'll briefly explain how to handle the kayaks and take a moment to practice our paddling skills under the starry night sky in this unforgettable environment.
The most awaited moment has arrived! We'll start paddling along the coast of Holbox in search of one of nature's most amazing phenomena. What's more, you'll be able to dive into the warm waters of the Mexican Caribbean to see the bioluminescent plankton up close. Did you know that the blue light emitted by these microorganisms is enhanced by the movement of the water? You'll see for yourself during the tour!
We'll paddle for 20 to 30 minutes while we take in the luminescent plankton and admire the stars shining in the sky. We'll admire the celestial vault without light pollution, so we can more clearly appreciate the constellations, planets, and part of the Milky Way.
Lastly, we'll go back to the meeting point, where we'll arrive an hour and a half to two hours after the start time.
