Spend a day immersed in the landscapes of northern São Paulo on this day trip to Monte Sião, Serra Negra, Amparo, and Pedreira from Holambra. We'll also get to know the craftsmanship of the region!
Northern Sao Paulo Day Trip
Meet us at Rua Dória Vasconcelos, from where we'll move toward the interior of the state of São Paulo, just north of the city to discover its landscapes, handicrafts, and traditional products.
Our first stop will be in the municipality of Monte Sião, where we'll visit Brazil's only blue and white porcelain factory. Afterwards, we'll take a short walk through the center of the town, which is considered one of the largest handicraft industries in the south of the country.
Leaving Monte Sião behind, we'll continue on to Serra Negra. On the outskirts of this town, we'll stop to visit a rural farm from where we'll enjoy impressive views of the mountains. We'll also be treated to a tasting of artisanal products, including coffee, cachaça, and sweets typical to the region. Afterward, we'll head to the center of Serra Negra where you can enjoy lunch at any of the local restaurants.
With our bellies full and appetites satiated, we'll depart for Amparo to visit an artisan cheese factory whose products have been awarded worldwide. The next stop will be in the town of Pedreira, where we'll tour its craft stalls. Did you know that the town is a paradise for decor lovers?
From Pedreira, we'll return to the meeting point in Holambra, 10 hours later.
