On this full tour of Holambra with entrance tickets you'll visit the flower fields, see windmills and taste traditional sweets - you'll feel like you're in The Netherlands!
Description
We'll meet at 9:30 am at Rúa Campo do Pouso to start our full tour of Holambra, a Brazilian city with many similarities to The Netherlands. Come and find out why!
Firstly, we'll head to a rural estate to enjoy its extensive plantations of flowers such as gerbera daisies, lisianthus and cactus. We'll also visit its garden, where we'll see other species such as sunflowers, roses, begoñas and petunias.
Our tour of Holambra continues at the restaurant Casa Bela. Here we'll recharge our batteries with a traditional lunch including Kassseler, boiled sausage, stamppot, sauerkraut, nassi goreng and other typical Dutch and German dishes.
After lunch, it'll be time for a creative activity. We'll go to a place called Sítio Santo Antônio, where we'll paint a zueco (traditional clogs) and then take it back home. Let's paint!
Then, we'll head to the Holambra Historical Museum to learn about the past of the European immigrants who came to this part of Brazil. Then we'll drive to the largest windmill in Latin America - the views from this place are amazing!
After enjoying the panoramic views, we'll go to a traditional Holambra bakery for a Stroopwafel, a Dutch waffle with a cup of tea. It's delicious!
The tour will end as we return to the meeting point at around 5 pm.
