Hue Day Trip

We'll start the day off right and pick you up from your hotel in Hoi An and set off north by minibus towards Hue. We're headed to the former capital of Vietnam!

During the 2.5-hour journey, we'll enjoy breathtaking landscapes as they pass us by, unique to this area of Vietnam. Plus, we'll make a pitstop at Lang Co Lagoon, a small fishing town famous for its extensive 3-kilometer (1.8-mile) beach. Here, you can indulge in a coffee or tea.

Full of energy, we'll visit the Imperial Tomb of Khai Dinh, the most spectacular mausoleum in the city. Guarded by imposing dragons, this tomb's architecture is actually a fusion of Vietnamese and Western influences.

Next up, we'll visit the Linh Ung Pagoda, a sanctuary built with a blend of modern and traditional Vietnamese architecture. Here, we'll make a stop for lunch, and enjoy a traditional Vietnamese dish at a local restaurant nearby.

Again, with newfound energy, We'll continue onwards to the Hue Citadel, the imperial city of the Vietnamese emperors. Entering under its imposing and intricately decorated arches, we'll explore the history behind 13 of the Nguyen Dynasty's emperors.

Finally, after 10 hours of sightseeing, we'll drop you off at your hotel in Hue or Hoi An, bringing the day to an end.
