Fall in love with Hoi An on this half-day tour, visiting the main tourist attractions of the so-called 'city of a thousand colors'. It'll be an unforgettable experience!

Description

We'll begin our tour by picking you up at your hotel at the designated time. From there, we'll head into Hoi An's old town, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Our first stop will be at the bustling Hoi An Market, a sensory delight brimming with vibrant sights, sounds, and aromas. Then, our knowledgeable guide will lead you to Hoi An Ancient Town, where you'll encounter the key attractions of the "city of a thousand colors" and learn about its rich history. As you wander the charming streets of this ancient town, many of which are situated along the banks of the Thu Bon River, you'll discover the historical importance of this location for trade.

You'll visit the Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, a vivid fusion of colorful gates, dragon sculptures, and intricate roofs. Here, you'll get an insight into ancestor worship, witness locals making offerings, and learn about the family altar. Witness the astonishingly well-preserved old houses such as Phung Hung Ancient House and Tan Ky Ancient House, which have endured the test of time for over two centuries. These houses belonged to prosperous merchants who traded with people from around the world.

Our journey will also take you to the iconic Japanese Bridge, considered one of Vietnam's most beautiful bridges. It was built over 400 years ago to connect the Japanese and Chinese communities residing on either side of the water. Admire the intricate carvings and paintings inside the bridge and gain insight into their cultural significance.

Then, we'll explore renowned handicraft shops and art galleries in Hoi An. We'll traverse the quaint alleyways and local neighborhoods before heading on to our next adventure.

The final part of the tour will take us to further appreciate the lantern-lit streets as we embark on a delightful boat ride. Experience the symbolic act of releasing flower lanterns and offering prayers for good fortune.

Finally, after 3.5 hours of exploration, your guide will escort you back to your hotel.
