There's no better way to explore Iceland's incredible wilderness than on this fun 4x4 tour of the Vatnajökull and Skalafellsjökull glaciers. Let's go!

4x4 Glacier Tour

At the time indicated, we'll meet at base camp about 46 km (28 miles) from Höfn, and from here, we'll start our 4x4 tour of the Vatnajökull and Skalafellsjökull glacier.

Once we're all settled in our seats, we'll start our route through the mountains in the region. Along the way, we'll admire some of the highest points in Iceland as we scale Skalafellsjökull and Vatnajökull, Europe's largest glacier. How majestic!

We'll travel up the Vatnajökull glacier, ascending up to 1000 metres (3,280 feet) above sea level. During the tour, we'll also make another stop to take photos.

Additionally, the guide will tell you lots of fascinating facts about the glaciers and their ice fields, highlighting their impact on the environment.

After 3 hours, we'll return to the meeting point and end this 4x4 tour.
