When booking, you can choose between the following options:
Sightseeing Tour (3 Hours)
We'll meet at the designated time at the Tasmanian Travel Centre and from there, we'll begin our sightseeing tour of Hobard, which will take place onboard a bus or minibus. Ready to explore the capital of Tasmania? You'll be captivated by this fascinating Australian city!
We'll first explore the area of Sullivan's Cove, the founding point of Hobart. From there, we'll continue the tour along Parliament House and Salamanca Place, where you'll get to see Georgian-style housing.
The route will then continue along other important points of interest in Hobart, such as Battery Point and Saint George's Church. After this, we'll move on to South Hobart until we reach Cascade Gardens, the city's most beautiful gardens. We'll also drive by the remains of Female Factory, an old women's prison.
As well as this, we'll make a stop at the Rosny Hill Lookout to enjoy incredible views of Hobart, Sandy Bay, and Mount Wellington.
Lastly, after 3-hours, this sightseeing tour will come to an end at Brooke Street Pier.
Sightseeing Tour + MONA Tickets (8 Hours)
If you choose this option, we'll do the same sightseeing tour of Hobart described in the previous option.
Afterwards, from the Brooke Street Pier, located on the shores of River Derwent, you'll take a ferry to the MONA: the Museum of Old and New Art.
In this museum, you'll get to enjoy artworks by renowned artists such as Stephen J. Shanabrook and Chris Ofili. You'll also be able to grab yourself a bite to eat at the MONA restaurant if you wish.
Lastly, in the afternoon you'll take the ferry back to the Brooke Street Pier, where this activity will come to an end after a total of 8 hours.
