Set off from the capital of Tasmania for Bruny Island on our unforgettable day trip. We'll spend the day exploring this beautiful natural area and go on an unforgettable cruise.

Bruny Island Day Trip & Boat Ride

At 7:45 am, we'll pick you up from Hobart Harbour and take you to Kettering Wharf by bus. From there, we'll take a 10-minute ferry ride to Bruny Island, a paradisiacal spot in southern Tasmania.

After hopping off the boat at Bruny Island, we'll catch a bus to Adventure Bay. When we get to this beautiful bay, we'll have a comforting breakfast that'll include a freshly made blueberry muffin with a hot or cold drink. Once we've fuelled up for the day, we'll set off on a boat trip around Bruny Island.

During our 3-hour boat ride in the Tasman Sea, we'll admire the cliffs and outcrops of Bruny Island's eastern coastline.

Our boat ride will come to an end as we return to Adventure Bay. We'll have lunch here at a restaurant overlooking the sea. At the restaurant, there'll be a variety of main courses you can choose from: fish fillet with chips, homemade pumpkin soup or gourmet salad with Tasmanian salmon or ham.

Having had lunch, we'll head to the jetty on the north side of Bruny Island to catch the ferry back to Kettering. From there, we'll take the bus back to Hobart Harbour and say our goodbyes at 5:30 pm.
