Delve into the history of Vietnam and discover the most important places of interest in the country's largest city with this guided tour of Ho Chi Minh City.
Ho Chi Minh City Tour
At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the city centre ready to start our tour of Ho Chi Minh City.
We'll spend four hours visiting some of the most emblematic places in old Saigon and learning about the fundamental role this city played in the Vietnam War. Why was its name changed? You'll discover the answer to this and many other questions during the tour.
During the tour, we'll visit the Reunification Palace, the last place in the city to be conquered at the end of the war. We'll then visit the Vietnam War Remnants Museum, where we'll learn even more about this period of Vietnamese history.
We'll also discover Ho Chi Minh City's French colonial past by visiting the Central Post Office and the famous Notre Dame Cathedral, one of the most popular buildings in the city. Did you know that all the materials used to build the temple were imported from France?
Another place we'll visit is the Thien Hau pagoda in Cho Lon, a Chinese-style temple dedicated to the Lady of the Sea, also known as Mazu. Finally, we'll visit the traditional Vietnamese handicraft factory, where we'll see the elaboration process of some of the most famous typical products, such as their ceramic pieces.
We'll finish the tour back at your hotel at 1 pm.
