Ruta del Novillo Tour
Yaqui Valley Villages Tour
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Hermosillo and start this exciting tour of the Ruta del Novillo.
First, we'll visit Mazatán, a small town founded by the Spanish in the 17th century and famous for its traditional fresh cheese. We'll enjoy our delicious treats and then head to Nidopa Ranch, where they distill and produce Bacanora. This traditional drink represents the Sonora region and is a product of origin, made from agave leaves from northern tribes in the state.
The tour continues to Mátape to visit the Musician's Museum and learn about the origins of the well-known Othón brothers' orchestra and other musical groups from the area.
The tour then will continue to the outskirts of San Pedro de la Cueva, where we'll visit a very unusual place - the Dry Waterfall, an extraordinary geological formation. Later, we'll go to a local wafer factory to find out why it's become such an iconic place.
After an hour of free time to enjoy lunch at your leisure, we'll go to a small municipality called Batuc to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. Our next stop will be in Ures, where we'll visit Zaragoza Plaza and a ham factory.
Lastly, we'll be on our way back to Hermosillo, where we will arrive at your hotel about 11 hours later.
