Once in San Carlos, we'll visit the Estero del Soldado wetland, a protected natural area that serves as a refuge for species such as the coyote, white-tailed deer, wild boar and desert fox. There we'll learn curious facts about the area's native species and enjoy a 1-hour kayak tour of the lagoon to see its mangroves and birds.
Afterwards, we'll head to the San Carlos viewpoint, one of the most spectacular ocean views in the world according to National Geographic magazine.
