Helsinki Private Tour

Having met up at the scheduled time on Aleksanterinkatu Street, we'll set off on our private tour of Helsinki

As this is a private tour, we can visit the places that draw your attention and explore the city at a pace that suits you best. We can also make stops to grab a tea or coffee and rest our legs, as during our tour we'll walk for around 4 miles (6 to 7 kilometres).

Our tour will begin in the nearby Senate Square, which exhibits numerous examples of Neoclassical architecture that date back to the beginning of the 19th century. We'll see some of the buildings that surround it, such as the Helsinki Cathedral, the National Library of Finland, the Tori Quarters and the City Museum. Afterwards, we could also head to the City Hall and the Presidential Palace nearby.

The next stop on our tour will be one of the city's most incredible monuments. This would be the Uspenski Cathedral, an iconic building that also attests to the Russian impact on Finland's history.

Once we've finished admiring the cathedral's golden domes and redbrick façade, we'll stroll over to the Allas Sea Pool. We'll then walk towards Market Square and Esplanadi Park before visiting the Kappeli at the end of the park. This place was once a key meeting point for numerous famous Finish artists, whose impact can be seen today from the fine art that adorns the Kappeli's walls.

While we're in the Esplanadi, we can also admire Runeberg's Statue before heading to the Swedish Theatre and the Central Railway Station. After admiring these historic spots, we can make our way to the National Theatre of Finland, the iconic Oodi Central Library and the Amos Rex Modern Art Museum. During our tour, we can also visit the Kiasma, the Parliament House and the Chapel of Silence if you wish.

After 3 hours of history, beautiful buildings and culture, we'll finish our private tour in a central location of your choice in Helsinki. See you next time!
