Helsinki Walking Tour
We'll meet at 9 Aleksanterinkatu Street in Helsinki at 2 pm and start a walking tour to get to know all the must-see sights around this Nordic city.
We'll walk through the historic centre, passing first of all through the central Senate Square, where you'll see the Palace of the Council of State. Here you'll see one of Helsinki's most iconic buildings: the Lutheran Cathedral. We'll also visit the nearby Uspenski Cathedral, a place full of contrasts!
The tour will continue through Helsinki until we reach the Market Square and Esplanade Park. We'll follow the Helsinki Railway tracks and visit Kansalaistori, where we'll stop before the Marshal Mannerheim equestrian statue.
After learning about its history, we'll move on to the Kamppi Chapel of Silence, a very special location for the people of Helsinki. To conclude the guided tour of Helsinki, we'll visit the building that houses the Oodi Central Library.
We'll also get the opportunity to taste some local flavours when we stop to sample traditional berry juice and unique sweet treats.
